Avalon Park App · Last updated August 18, 2026
This policy describes how the Avalon Park mobile application (“App”) handles information. The App helps residents and visitors browse the local business directory and community events for Avalon Park Orlando. The App is published by Matthew Chapman.
Information we collect
- Push notifications. If you enable notifications, the App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to register your device and subscribe you to topics you choose (new events, business of the week, or community announcements). Apple provides a device token for delivery. We do not receive your name or email address through the App for this purpose.
- Public community content. The App loads business listings, events, and related settings from our Firebase database. That content is meant for public display in the directory and calendar.
- Local storage. The App may cache directory and event data on your device so it remains available offline. That cache stays on the device.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require an account.
- We do not ask for your name, email, or home address in the App.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
- Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Messaging) for community content and notification delivery. Google Privacy Policy
- Apple for App Store distribution and push delivery. Apple Privacy Policy

When you tap a phone number, address, or website, your device opens Phone, Maps, or Safari. Those actions are handled by the operating system. We do not store them in the App.
Children
The App is for general community use and is not directed at children under 13.
